Test for Glucose (reducing sugar)
Benedict’s solution to a sample and heat.
turns blue -> green/orange/brown/brickred. depending on the concentration of glucose.

Iodine to the sample
orange brown -> blue/black

Biuret solution to the sample
blue->violet/purple
Test for Lipids
Add ethanol and shake, equal amount of cold water
Cloudy white emulsion forming
