The energy changes in a chemical change are large and are able to be observed.

Mass and the number of atoms on that substance.
The number of molecules is not conserved in a chemical change.
What is a decomposition reaction?
A reaction where a chemical compound SEPARATES into elements or simpler compounds.
What is a synthesis reaction?
A reaction where element or simpler compounds combine to form a chemical compound.
