A

% Yield = (Actual yield / Theoretical yield) X 100

How do you calculate the empirical formula?

A

Get your elements, then their combining mass/ % in g. Divide the combining mass by their Mr. This will come up with a ratio. If the ratio is 1:2 for eg it will be LiCO2.
