15
Q

Why do this happen (oxygen ) ?

A

The concentration of oxygen is much higher in the conical flask

17
Q

What does this happen (carbon dioxide ) ?

A

The carbon dioxide reacts with the Limewater , re-producing calcium carbonate

18
Q

What is the test for hydrogen ?

A

Place a lit splint in a test/boiling tube

Positive test will result in a squeaky pop noise

22
Q

Why do this happen (hydrogen) ?

A

Hydrogen is very flammable is burns rapidly and the ‘pop’ is a small explosion
