What two things do we need for an electric current to flow?
A
Something to make the electricity flow, such as a battery or power pack.
A complete path for the current to flow in. This is called an electric circuit.

What are the two different types of circuit?

Series and Parallel

What is the difference between a series circuit and a parallel circuit?
A
If there are no branches then it’s a series circuit.
If there are branches it’s a parallel circuit.
Voltmeters are used in a parallel circuit whereas an ammeter is used in a series circuit.

A
Current is a measure of how much electric charge flows through a circuit.
