Indirect Characterization is when the author reveals the personality of a character, without specifically stating it, the reader has to infer the character’s personality.

What is the STEAL method and what are its steps?

A

The STEAL method is a way to identify a character’s personality and its steps go like this 1. Speech(what the character says) 2. Thoughts(what goes through a character’s head) 3. Effects on Others(how do all people feel about the character, do they like him/her?) 4. Actions (what a character does) 5. Looks (what a character looks like).
