- very high throne, above everyone
- makes other sins move/go
- daughter of Pluto & Proserpina (death)
- dragon at her feet: opposite of Mary
- holding a mirror, vain
- claims Jove (Zeus) as her father: LIES
- got kingdom by usurpation & tyrrany
- rules w/ politics, not laws, blackmail
- courtiers also vain & proud
