anti social/withdrawn from the miniaturized society they formed. his skin is pale implying he spends aloth of time in the shade unlike the other boys who are tan. he is described as watching them from the bushes while they played in the water. he is violent from the start throwing pebbles at the boys, not rocks due to social conventions but those wear off and uses a rock to murder piggy. when the coconut falls from the trees on to the boys he is not hit but shows no relief or empathy for those who are scared implying his sociopath nature he ends up being jacks main tool, allowing control via fear such as with the twins
