Macbeth guilt quotes
“Will all great Neptune ocean wash this blood clean from my hand”
“Here lay Duncan, his silver skin laced with his golden blood, and his gashed stabs looking like a breach in nature for ruin’s wasteful entrance”
“Dagger of the mind”
“I am cabined, cribbed, confined bound in to saucy doubts and fear” Quick analysis remember
Macbeth fear is shown when he says “I am cabined, cribbed, confined bound in to saucy doubts and fear” The repetition of harsh jarring “c” sound makes it dramatic as it shows Macbeth trapped in his own guilt.
“Dagger of the mind”
This dagger is Macbeth final warning of consciousness perhaps forged himself. Macbeth dismisses the dagger and attempts to make himself that it is a good omen.
