• Explain the impact of each kingdom on us and the environment (both beneficial and harmful). Be SPECIFIC!! You should have multiple impacts for each kingdom.
• In addition to the chart, some additional things to review for each kingdom include:
o Bacteria – concepts from Lab #7
o Fungi – characteristics including concept of hyphae and spores (from lab #8);
o Plants –nonvascular vs. vascular (xylem and phloem), function of seed, structure of flower, function of fruit (from lab #9)
o **Be able to trace the evolutionary history explaining what adaptations are present in each of the different phyla (mosses, ferns, gymnosperms and angiosperms).
