For a front seat passenger over the age of 18, it is a primary offense for not wearing a seatbelt that they are responsible for. For passengers under the age of 18 that don’t wear their seatbelt, the driver is responsible for them.
List 3 ways that seat belts can protect you in an accident.
They keep motorists & passengers from being thrown from the vehicle in a crash, they slow a body down with the vehicle, and they keep motorists & passengers from sliding on the seat during sudden turns and stops.
