16
Q

What does turbo charger and super charge do

A

Increase the altitude at which full power can be maintained

17
Q

Where does turbo charger gets its power from

A

Gets its power from the exhaust which turns the power turbine

18
Q

Give me an advantage and disadvantage of turbo charger

A

Advantage is it’s very lightweight and does not take power directly from the engine. This is for advantage it’s it’s very hot operating it’s very expensive and it’s very high maintenance.

It works by compressing the air

19
Q

What does the Wastegate do

A

Regulates the amount of exhaust gas directed to turbine. When the west gate is open the engine is not turbo charged when the gate is closed the engine is turbo charged

20
Q

How does supercharger works As compared to turbo charger

A

Supercharger is internally driven compressor power directly by the engine or by the crankshaft the advantage is it’s reliable and less expensive
Disadvantage is it takes power from the engine up to 16%

21
Q

High density =

A

High density = low air density, high temperature, high humidity, high altitude.
Low density altitude =high air density, low temperature, low humidity, low altitude
