Q

What criteria must be met prior to performing an adjustment?

A
  1. Patient protection
  2. Mastoid properly placed - inferior tip in line with the non padded portion of the inferior ear slot
  3. Patient centered on the bench so that the ear-shoulder-femur heads are in the center of the bench
  4. Shoulder slant - the shoulders are perpendicular to the bench
  5. VP and EOP in alignment and perpendicular to the floor
  6. Glabella-Nose-Chin-Episternal notch parallel to the floor
  7. Getting the patient up correctly

If the spinous is the major misalignment in an axis listing, what is the SCP?
Lateral margin of the spinous
35
If the body (entire segment) is the major misalignment of an axis listing, what is the SCP?
Lamina pedicle junction
36
If the spinous and body misalignments are equal and misaligned to the same side, what is the SCP?
Mid lamina on that side
37
If the spinous and body misalignments are equal but misaligned in opposite directions, what is the SCP?
Lamina pedicle junction
38
What is the CP for all axis listings?
Pisiform
