A
- the boys crash on the island
- Ralph blows the conch to create a gathering, and becomes leader
- Ralph, Jack, and Simon explore the island and climb the mountan
- Jack tries to kill a pig but fails

- Little Uns are afraid of the Beastie
- they try and create a signal fire but get carried away and burn a part of the forest, along with a Little Un

- Jack goes hunting and almost kills a pig
- Ralph tries to build the shelters, but gets in a fight with Jack
- Simon wanders off into the forest

- Roger and Maurice trample Little Uns sand castles
- Roger throws stones around Henry
- while boat passes by, Jack is killing a pig and lets the signal fire out
- Jack and Ralph fight again

- Ralph realises things are going badly and calls a meeting
- Beasiet mentioned again, and Jack gets angry and starts breaking rules

- dead airman lands on island
- Samneric spot it and think it’s the beast
- Ralph, Jack, and some others go hunting the beast and discover Castle Rock

- Ralph feels isolated and trapped
- he joins in with a pig hunt and spears a pig
- gets carried away playing the pig game
- climb up the mountain at night and see the beast

- Jack tries to seize power, but fails
- however people secretly join his tribe
- Jack kills another pig, and sticks it’s head on a stick
- Simon has a fit infront of the pig/ Lord of the Flies

- Simon finds the airman, and decides to tell the others
- Jack holds a feast which everyone goes to, as a storm brews
- as the storm starts they begin dancing, and, in blood frenzy, kill Simon

A
- Piggy and Ralph realise what they’ve done
- Ralph has finally lost all his power to Jack, only a few remain with him
- at night Jack raids Ralph’s huts, and steals Piggy’s glasses to make a fire

A
- Ralph and his small group dress up and go to Castle Rock to get back Piggy’s glasses
- the Chief (Jack) and Ralph have another big fight
- Roger kills Piggy with a rock, and the Conch shatters
- Samneric are captured, and Ralph flees for his life

- Ralph quickly talks to Samneric
- the tribe sets a massive fire to smoke him out and kill him
- just as they’re about to catch him, a naval officer arrives at the beach, and they all start crying
