Secondary Analysis
The analysis of data (qualitative or quantitative) by researchers other than those responsible for their collection, often for purposes that the latter may not have envisaged.
Hypothesis
An informed speculation, which is set up to be tested, about the possible relationship between two or more variables.
Variables
An attribute or characteristic that may vary over time or from case to case.
Multivariate Data Analysis
The examination of relationships among three or more variables
Reflexivity
Terms used to refer to social researchers’ awareness of the implications that their methods, values, biases, decisions, and mere presence in the situatios they investigate have for the knowledge they generate.
