Girls

  • outweigh boys in early adolescence and are taller than boys their age.
  • Growth spirt starts at age 9, puberty btwn 9-15
  • Hormonal production of Estradiol (estrogen)

Boys

  • growth spirt starts at age 11
  • Puberty btwen 10-13.5
  • Testosterone production
