- May be on back

- angular/round/pink/central clearing/multiple lesions/ 1-2 cm

- bright red/tense/shiny/lower extremety starting mid calf/ swelling
- systemic infxn/may need admit
- need abx
- mark with pen to recheck next day

Tinea Pityriasis
A
- hypopigmented/ disseminated patches/
- not painful/contagious
- potassium hydroxide (KOH) - spaghetti meatball- FUNGAL indication!

A
- common skin patch
- dissapear without tx 6-8 weeks

Rosacea
A
- 30 yr and older
- facial redness/dilated blood vessels/ swelling/burning/stinging/ and occasionally Rhinophema

Acanthosis Nigricans
A
- DM, obese, pregnancy
- Area of dark, discoloration in body folds/creases
- On rare occasion inidcative or organ tumor
- No tx

Basal cell carcinoma
A
- pearly/raised/red/shiny/can bleed
- almost never metastasizes
- most frequent occuring skin cancer
