Extended family- nuclear + grandma or uncle
Binuclear- divorce with shared custody kids
Reconstituted- divorced with new family
Cohabilitation- couple not married in house
Communal- Ex: sister wives

Childbearing- bring infant into family
Child rearing- raising children
