Chapter 8 - The man in the car paradox Flashcards

Q
What is the main thought in the chapter
A
We all look at rich people driving fancy cars, the MGs, the S class. But are we looking at the person, or are we looking at the cars? The author believes that it is the cars. What we really want is the respect and admiration those cars bring you. The author tries to make a point that there certainly are better ways to earn those than money. Humility and kindness, and empathy will bring you more of those than horsepower ever will.
