Assist line personnel w meeting their goals.

Organization specialists different parts of the organization come together to work on projects but are still line and staff structure.

Communications, technology, etc to link organizations allow them to work together on common objectives.

Temporary networked made of replaceable firms that join and leave as needed.

Comparing an organizations practices, processes, and products against the worlds best.

Functions that the organization can do just as good or better than any other organization in the world.
