What does inauguration mean?
A ceremony in which the President takes the oath of office.
Why was Washington nervous about being the first President?
Because he couldn’t screw this up.
What were colonists used to?
Being ruled by a king.
Why was it important that the department of Treasury was set up?
It is important because they needed to set up an economy, and a central Treasury is needed to unite the colonies.
What is needed to defend the new nation?
soldiers

Executive- Executes Laws
Judicial- Carry out laws
Legislative- Make laws
What does the Attorney general do?
Advises the president on legal matters.
