Understand and remember the definitions
What is a primary industry

What is a resource, and how is something considered a resource?
A resource is anything that can be used to produce goods and services, such as raw materials, workers, money, and land. Something becomes a resource when deemed valuable and useable for the economy.
What are Flow Resources
resources that are replaced by natural actions and must be used when and where they occur or be lost. Sunlight, wind, and water currents are all vital examples.
What are renewable resources?
they are resources that can be regenerated if used carefully. A couple of examples are soil, forests, and fish stocks.
What are non-renewable resources?
they are limited resources that cannot be replaced once they are used up. A few examples are fossil fuels and minerals.
What are water stores?
Places in the world where water is stored
What are water flows?
Mechanisms by which stores move from one reserve to another
What does intensive farming do?
involves relatively small areas of land, requires large amounts of labor, is located near urban areas, and produces dairy products for the nearby large population
What does extensive farming do?
involves large areas of land, requires relatively small amounts of labor, and produces products such as wheat and cooking oil for export
What is one of the easiest resources to recycle?
Aluminum
Where are commercial forests located?
near roads, and railways, aiding shipping easily to the market
