Enslaved Africans
People from Africa who were forced to give up freedom and pend there lives obeying and working for there owners or masters enslaved Africans were treated as property that could be bought and sold.
Dilammas
Situations in which a person is forced to make a choice even though there is no good choices to make for example millions of enslaved Africans had to choose between dying on the voyage to America or working their rest of they life’s as slaves.
Middle passage
The voyage passage of slave traders and enslaved Africans across the Atlantic Ocean from Africa to the Americans.
Plantations
A usually large area of privately owned land where crops were grown with the labor if workers or slaves that lived there
Americas
The continents of north and South America connected by Central America along nearby islands like those in the Caribbean Sea
Slave actions
A sale in which slaves were sold to buyers who bid offered prices for them usually a slave who was sold to the person making the highest bid.
Overseer
A person who was put in in charge of work of slaves the overseer had great power over the slaves and could punish them for disobeying him.
