What is aiding and abetting?
703.1 - Anyone concerned in the commission of a public offense, whether they directly commit the offense or aid and abet its commission, shall be charged, tried and punished as principals. Guilt of a person who aids and abets commission of a crime must be determined upon facts which show the part the person had in it.
Doesn’t depend on the degree of another person’s guilt.
What is joint criminal conduct?
703.2 - 2+ people acting concert, knowingly participate in a public offense, each is responsible for the acts of the other done in furtherance of commission of the offense or escape, each person’s guilt will be the same as the other, unless the act was one which the person could not reasonably expect to be done in furtherance of committing the offense.
What is accessory after the fact?
703.3 - Accessory After the Fact
Anyone with knowledge of a public offense and the person who committed it, and who is not a husband/wife of the person who committed it, who harbors, aids, or conceals the person who committed the offense with the intent or prevent apprehension of the person who committed the offense commits an aggravated misdemeanor if the offense was a felony, simple misdemeanor for a misdemeanor offense.
