Define EET
The estimated time between two significant points
Define EET for IFR flights
Estimated time from takeoff to time overhead IAF (if no IAF then overhead destination aerodrome)
Define EET for VFR flights
Estimated time from takeoff to overhead the destination aerodrome
How is time expressed in flight plans?
UTC (hours and mins)
For IFR flights how long before EOBT must flight plans be filed?
At least 60 mins
For NATS flights how long before EOBT must flight plans be filed?
3hrs
How long before entering corrolled airspace or crossing an air traffic route must flight plans be filed?
10mins
How long before EOBT must atc be informed of significant changes to flight plans?
30mins
When should a flight plan be amended or cancelled when experiencing a delay?
Controlled flights = a delay of 30mins or more to EOBT
Uncontrolled flights = a delay of 60mins or more to EOBT
If you divert to an aerodrome that is different to destination airport how close to ETA must you inform ATC?
30mins (prevents search and rescue being deployed)

Manually (personal), Online (personal) and electronically (commercial)
