stimulates the outer part of the adrenal gland

fight-or-flight response hormone, increases heart rate and opens airways
corticosteroids (mineralcorticoids and glucocorticoids)

decreases the level of sugar in the blood by encouraging cells to open up to the blood sugar (glucose) and take it in

tells the liver to make more sugar and increases the level of sugar in the blood

produced by the tests, triggers the production of sperm and the development of masculine body characteristics (increase muscle and facial hair)
estrogen
produced by the ovaries, causes the development and release of eggs as well as development of feminine attributes (breasts and wide hips)
