Chapter 7 Flashcards
Why do the animals still trust the pigs
Trust them rather than the obvious truth because they still believe blindly that Four legs good two legs bad
Why did Napoleon hide the weakness of the farm
Led Mr. Whymper through a store cupboard to look full
Stalin’s rule millions suffered from famine and died however Stalin covered up the tragedy.
How dipoles Napoleon trick the animals
Thinking animalism is the same an animal farm, allows the pigs to kill or punish anyone who disagrees with their orders and claim they are defending animalism
Slavery disguised as freedom
What does Napoleon do to play the farms against each other
Wonders to sell to foxwood or Pilkinton reflecting when the USSR negotiated possible treaties with allies and Germany
What do the pigs want to do with animalism
Rewrite the history of animal farm and use snowball to justify their rule like they did with jones
What happens with Boxer
Puts all his belief in animalism and believes Napoleon over his own memories, Napoleon sees him as a threat calling the dogs to attack him . Boxer wins and looks for Napoleon to what to do

Same with Napoleon
What happens to beast of England
Officially killed the revolution by banning it , as the new masters of the farm the pigs fear ideas in that utopian and idealistic song and replace it with a propaganda song.
Represents a turn away from the revolutionary ideas that were spoken of in the song. Animals are gaining more human characteristics and gather power juxtaposing what the song stands for
What happens to the conditions
Get worse and rulers spread through squealer that snowball is conducting an extensive campaign against the farm , all negative events are attributed to him even in the face of direct evidence
What do the pigs do with snowball
Use him as a social tool to unify the animals and prevent outbreak, the animals automatically blame snowball rather than rationally responding to an event, this shows squealers propaganda campaign has successfully reordered the way the animals think about the events on the farm
Why don’t the animals rise up
Blinded by their paranoid belief in foreign espionage to see the poor leadership
