Q
What does it mean for a person to have “reasonable grounds” to believe or suspect something in legal terms ?
A
- A person can be said to have “reasonable grounds” to believe or suspect something if they actually believe or suspect it, and this belief or suspicion is based on facts from which they have drawn an inference.
- Furthermore, any reasonable person, considering those same facts, would have come to the same conclusion.
