When can TDD (Tyre Deflation Device) must not be deployed?
A
On motorcycles, trikes, mopeds, or quad bikes.
In locations where this is high pedestrian or vehicle traffic or lots of parked vehicles.
In locations where the road is road construction.
Where there is likelihood of injury to a person.
Staff must not deploy TDD on a heavy motor vehicle (as defined in the Land Transport Act 1998) unless authorisation is obtained from the Emergency Communications Centre (ECC) shift commander or operational commander)
