A

-> Force 136: set up by British War Cabinet, mostly Malaysian Chinese, concentrated in Malaysia -> collect info about Japanese and organise sabotage efforts
-> Malayan’s People Anti-Japanese Army (MPAJA): mainly in jungles of Perak & Johor-
> launched attacks on Japanese troops, policemen & locals working with them
> distributed anti-Japanese posters to create anti-Japanese sentiments
