A
“To lead out of.” A process of interpreting a text of scripture. The opposite of Eisegesis,” To read into.” Rightly conducted, exegesis means using several tools to arrive at what the author is trying to convey to the reader.

A
A study of correct methods of interpreting text.

Perspicuity
A
A term that simply means clarity. Perspicuity was a term used to speak of the doctrine of the clarity of Scripture.
