FENa interpretation

A
  • FENa helps to differentiate acute tubular necrosis from pre renal state
  • FENa >2% –>ATN
  • FENa <1% –> Pre renal state ( eg: dehydration etc)
    FENa 1-2% –> maybe seen in both
