Q

Reproduction by giving birth to young

A

After matting (交配), a male’s sperm cell (精子細胞) fertilises a female’s eggs (卵子). the fertilised egg (受精卵) develops into an embryo (胚胎) and then a foetus (胎兒) inside the mother’s body. It gets nutrients (營養) from the mother’s body. When the foetus is fully developed into a baby, the mother gives birth.
