Review Cycle
The process of a slide show designer sharing a file with multiple reviewers so that they can make comments and changes to their copies of the slides and then return the file to the designer.
Comment
In Word and PowerPoint, a note that an author or a reviewer adds to a document. In VBA, a statement in the code that documents it.
Collaborate
The work with other users on a project or document.
Margin
In Excel and Word, the space between the page content and the edges of the page.
Line Spacing
The amount of vertical space between lines of text in a paragraph.
Paragraph Spacing
The space, measured in points, that appears directly above and below a paragraph.
Bullet Character
A small graphic symbol used to set off an item in a list.
Bullet Size
The size of a bullet character, measured as a percentage of the text size.
Bullet Color
The color of a bullet character, based on the design theme.
Format Painter
A feature that copies and pastes formatting from one text selection, cell, or range to another without duplicating any data.
Motion Path
In PowerPoint, a predetermined movement that determines where a slide object will appear after moving from its original location.
Custom Path
A motion path you can create if any of the predefined categories (Basic, Lines & Curves, and Special) do not meet your needs.
Dim
In PowerPoint, to change the font color of an item in a list once it has been displayed.
Animation Painter
A tool that copies an animation effect or set of effects from one object to another.
Trigger
In PowerPoint, specifies when an animation or other action should occur.
Connector
In PowerPoint, a line with connection points at each end that stay attached to related shapes.
Lock Drawing Mode
In PowerPoint, a command that allows you to add the same line repeatedly.
Sections
In PowerPoint, divisions in a presentation that help organize slides.
Zoom
A viewing feature that lets you display a view of a document so that its contents are either enlarged or shrunk.
Section Zoom
A slide zoom linked to the first slide in a section that you click to display that slide followed by the rest of the slides in the section.
Slide Zoom
A small version of a slide placed on another slide that you can click to display the slide in Slide Show view.
Summary Zoom
A slide that contains section zooms, usually for all the sections in the presentation.
