Within any team divisions arise. When smaller teams get so focused on their immediate task, they forget about what’s others are doing or how they depend on other teams. Teams start to compete and when there are other obstacles animosity and blame develop, inhibiting the overall team’s performance. How is this remedied?
It falls on leaders to continually keep perspective on the strategic mission and remind the team that they are part of a greater team and the strategic mission is paramount.
