What is the difference between a mixture and a compound?
Mixtures are compounds that aren’t chemically combined but physically mixed.
What is a heterogeneous mixture?
A mixture in which the individual parts can be easily seen.
What is a homogeneous mixture?
A mixture in which the individual parts can not be seen.
What are alloys?
Mixtures of different metals.
What is a concentrate?
A solution that has a large amount of solute in the solvent.
What is a saturated solution?
A solution in which no more solute can be dissolved in the solvent.
What are some ways to separate the component parts of a mixture?
