color mode

bad on colors being absorbed as the ink hits the paper and being reflected back to your eyes- cyan, yellow, magenta, and black
RGB
uses red, blue, green to mix colors
grayscale
uses up to 250 shades of grey
foreground color
black by default and is used to fill color selection
