Reduced levels of oxygen, heart attack or poisoning
Skin colour yellow?
Liver disease
Skin colour black-and blue mottling ?
Blood seeping under the skin - caused by a blow or sever infection
Patients with dark skin: check for colour changes in:
Lips
Nail beds and palms
Earlobes
Whites of eyes
Lower eyelid
Gums and tongue
