Interdependence

A
  • Operations tasks are the most important, since they directly accomplish the police mission, goals, and objectives
  • But … they will fail, or will not be sustainable, unless the other 20 administration and auxiliary services tasks are performed in a systematic and capable manner
  • Analogy: wars are won or lost on logistics – can’t win without gasoline, bullets, reinforcements etc.
