What are the components of the dialectic?
Thesis (the truth); antithesis(lie); synthesis (gospel) and syncretism (idolatry).
What is the thesis?
The thesis is the beginning proposition
What is the antithesis?
The antithesis goes contrary to the thesis
What is the synthesis?
The synthesis is the response of the thesis to the antithesis.
What is syncretism?
Syncretism, in terms of the dialectic, is the combination of the thesis and antithesis.
How does the author use dialects for the sake of apologetics?
The dialectical system is used for the gospel to assert the truth and expose the contradiction of the lie.
What is the relationship between the truth ant the lie?
The lie is the opposite to the truth.
How does God’s love glorify God?
God is love and with the love He has loved His people this is returned to Him in love. God is glorified when His love is extended.
How does the justice of God glorify God?
God’s perfect justice was practiced by Jesus Christ when he became man, paid the price for the injustices of His people and then made just those who live by faith. God’s perfect justice will be glorified on the Day of Judgement and with eternal rewards and punishment.
