Q

What was the program developed by the freshman committee?

A

The program proposed as the serious purpose of the fraternity the encouragement of scholarship on the part of the freshman, who were prospective members of the fraternity. It was voted later in the year, however, that after the entrance of the class of 1918 no freshman were to be admitted to Alpha Chapter. The report was so comprehensive and suggestive of advantage to all members that brother Giles urged the committee look after the work of all members in the manner in which it was proposed to aid the freshman.
