Oath, Exchange, Sign
3 Parts of Each Covenant (Creation)
Oath: God promises life and blessings to Adam and Eve.
Exchange: Adam and Eve obey God.
Sign: Sabbath
3 Parts of Each Covenant (Abraham)
Oath: God promises Abraham descendants, land, and blessings for all nations through him.
Exchange: Abraham obeys God.
Sign: Circumcision
3 Parts of Each Covenant (Moses)
Oath: God promises Moses to make Israel His chosen people and to bless them if they follow His laws. (Done through a Blood Oath)
Exchange: The Israelites commit to obeying Gods commandments and the law given through Moses.
Sign: The 10 Commandments and the observance of the passover.
3 Parts of Each Covenant (Jesus)
Oath: God promises forgiveness of sins and eternal life to all who believes in Jesus.
Exchange: Believers commit to following Jesus and living according to His teachings.
Sign: The Eucharist
