Technical skill
- Serve as the basis for learning, understanding and applying more complex skills (ex: skills used while working with others).

Foundational skill
To reduce mental fatigue (ex: walking around the room to specified spots).
Mobility
To add a dimension of forward movement (ex: paste facial part into a facial outline).
Construction
To give control to the child (ex: legos).
Destruction
To engage the child (ex: moves able pieces to a board game).
Material and activity movement
to give the child a sense of achievement (ex: completing a small puzzle) .
Completion
to sustain interest in the material/activity (ex: balls, sticks, cups, etc.) .
Flexibility
to maintain attention (ex: big box full of toys).
Surprise
is the occurrence of a relevant behavior under different non- training conditions (ex: people, objects, time).
