A
- Track survivorship, the chance of a individual in a given population surviving to various ages
- Shows the chance of any age surviving to certain ages

A
plots survivorship as the proportion of individuals from an initial population that are alive at each age

Type 1
A
Humans & large mammals- Produce few offspring, but give them good care

Type 2
A
-Consent over the life spam
-Invertebrates, lizards, rodents. Intermediate, constant surviviorship meaning that individuals are no more vulnerable from one stage to the next

A
- Very low, Very high
- Very large offspring
- Fish, oysters, etc. Low survivorship for the young, but high for those who live up to a certain age. Produce LOTS of off spring, but have little care for them
