The third party endorsed by the AF of L and the socialist party. They wanted government ownership of railroads and relief for farmers. Also limit the SC’s power to invalidate laws

Investors would give loans to Germany to pay for France and Great Britain to pay the the treasury back. rotated the money but when there was none everyone suffered
Dawes Plan
Democrats that betrayed their party because of Smith’s wet taste of alcohol. They elected Hoover and put a strong republican vote in border states and five states of the Confederacy
Hoovercrats
Originally designed to be protective for the farmers but amendments were added. It raised the tariff from 38.5% to 60%. Foreigners felt it was an attack on Europe

On October 29, 1929, when 16,410,030 stocks were sold. $140 billion dollars were lost in value and it was caused by English to reinvest in native businesses

$500 million dollars was set aside to pump up relief to businesses but not “individual people.”

The army that marched onto Washington to try and pressure the Congress into giving compensation. Only 6,000 of 20,000 were compensated
