How does suffering make its way through your body?
SNS & Hypothalamic Padrenal systems of suffering
What neurological functions does your brain go through in an imagined negative event and how is this different from an actual one?
Thalamus sends wake up signal to the brain stem.
Norepinephrine is released.
SNS sends signals to your major muscles and organs.
Hypothalamus prompts the pituitary gland to get the adrenal glands to release epinephrine and cortisol.
