Edward Jenner discovered a vaccination for smallpox he found out this theory by adding smallpox to milkmaids who had cowpox but the problem was that his vaccination had no proof meaning some people made theories that they would turn into a cow, and a cartoonist made a picture that explained the unbearing pain of turning into a cow.
