- Having good leadership
- anticipating change & staying relevant
- practising meritocracy

A
- honest, capable & willing to make tough/right decisions
- must have a vision

A
-being forward looking & taking sound decisions early
Eg; rising sea levels

How do we implement “a stake for everyone, opportunities for all”
A
-Give citizens a say in decision making
-if you have no say in Singapore affairs or no interest in it, you Wouldn’t want to be bothered with what happens to it
-help citizens feel like they “own” Singapore
Eg; election for president

How do we practice meritocracy?
A
- a system that distributes opportunities and rewards according to merit (Eg; Edusave award)
- not based on race, religion or family background
- “within your control” therefore more motivated to work hard
