Do not write a zero by itself after the decimal point (5 mg).
“Ms” should not be used because it gets mistaken for “ Morphine Sulfate or Magnesium Sulfate”, what should be write out?
The medication name such as Morphine Sulfate or Magnesium Sulfate.
