When are single digits used?
Callsigns, flight levels, headings, wind direction and speed, transponder codes, runways and altimeter settings*

Whole numbers/thousands
When do not all of the digits of a frequency have to be read back?
When the final two digits are both zero
When are hours and minutes both transmitted?
When confusion is possible
What are time checks nearest to?
To the nearest half minute
When is the word immediately used?
Used when immediate action is required for safety reasons

1 = unreadable 2 = readable now and then 3 = readable with difficulty 4 = readable 5 = perfectly readable
